Throughout her practice, which includes running a privacy law firm, Horia has supported small to large enterprises across various sectors—including technology, government, and financial services—in navigating the Canadian privacy regime and aligning their operations with international privacy laws. She has worked closely with organizations to design and implement robust systems and controls in accordance with various standards and regulations, such as the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Her technical skills include data mapping, incident response planning, and the deployment of encryption technologies, ensuring that organizations not only comply with legal requirements but also enhance their cybersecurity posture. She’s known for translating complex legal concepts into actionable insights that resonate with diverse audiences.
